Q.
How do I place my order?
A. There are several ways to order – you can fax the order form to us on 02 9542 3434, use the online order form which can be accessed on our website www.smartfunraisers.com.au or you can pop it in the mail to PO Box 290 Oyster Bay NSW 2225.
Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. We have no minimum order quantities or minimum dollar amount. Simply order the quantity you need.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. If you are able to pay a deposit that would be appreciated, however we understand this is not always possible. A 21 day invoice will be included with your order and we ask that you please pay this promptly. A 50% deposit is required for preschools and sporting organisations who have not ordered from us previously.
Q. How much is the freight?
A. Our freight charge is only $10 anywhere in Australia, irrespective of the size of your order.
Q. Can I pick up my order?
A. Yes, certainly you can pick up – just let us know on your order form.
Q. Can I have the order sent to me at home?
A. For insurance purposes we prefer to deliver directly to the school or organisation. If you insist on delivery to a home address please specify the address supplied is a home address as we will assume the address belongs to the school or organisation.
Q. Do you have a showroom?
A. Yes, we do have a showroom and you are welcome to come and look at the items at Unit 3 / 21 – 23 Marshall Road, Kirrawee NSW 2232. We would ask you to call us first to make an appointment.
Q. Once I place my order how soon do we receive the gifts?
A. Your order will be dispatched to you within 7-10 days of receipt of order. We will always email you when we have received your order. If you haven’t heard from us within 48 hours please contact us.
Q. How many gifts do we order per child as we have never had a stall before?
A. In our experience, if you order 1.5 gifts per child in your school that will generally be enough. After your first stall you will receive a good indication of the amount of gifts that you will need for future stall days.
Q. On the brochure there may be two or three designs or colours per gift shown. Do I need to specify which colour I prefer?
A. We will always supply assorted colours in fairly even quantities whenever we can, for example, if there is a red and blue version and you have ordered 20 units we will supply 10 of each colour.
Q. Can I place a small initial order for samples?
A. Yes you are welcome to place an order for samples, however you will be charged for these as well as the $10 freight.
Please note that we are happy to supply samples as per your order, but unfortunately cannot guarantee stock availability when you place your bulk order. Nor are we able to hold stock. We have increased our stock quantities significantly and endeavour to have good stock quantities available to fill your order however we advise placing your complete order as soon as possible to prevent any disappointments in the event we should run out of stock of a particular item.
Q. Can we return unsold stock?
A. No sorry, as we change our brochure every year we are unable to accept any return of goods. We do not refund for change of mind purchases however if you need to exchange for whatever reason we will exchange goods within the same promotion period as long as we are notified by 12th August 2011. If an exchange is required the freight cost of returning the goods is at your cost and we will need to charge you $10 freight for sending the new order to you.
Q. Do you ever run out of stock of a gift?
A. We hate running out of stock! We do everything in our power to avoid an out of stock situation and we have huge quantity of stock on hand however it is just not possible to forecast exactly what will be the most popular items. In the unfortunate event that we do run out of stock we will advise you as soon as possible by email. If we don’t hear back from you within a certain time frame we will follow this up with a phone call. We never substitute items but will always advise you so that you have the option to select another gift.
Q. What about school holidays?
A. We try very hard to keep abreast of all school holidays and would never send an order to the school if we know you are on holidays. We will always aim to make sure the order reaches the school before or after the holidays. In the event we are unsure we will contact you. If your school has different holidays (perhaps an additional pupil free day) to the rest of your state please advise on your order form.
